What:
SAISD’s youngest learners sign letters of intent during Kinder Signing Days

Just as athletes sign their commitment to a sports team, incoming kindergarten students sign their commitment to academic excellence at an SAISD school

April 26 (Wed), 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where:
Tynan Early Childhood Education Center, 925 Gulf St., 78202

Pre-kindergarten students and their families will celebrate the next milestone in a young learner’s life – the transition to kindergarten – during SAISD’s Kinder Signing Days. The event is a twist on Kinder Round Up with an opportunity to promote early registration and the continuation of lifelong learning in SAISD. 

Participating families will receive a Welcome to Kinder certificate, a photo opportunity, a backpack, a checklist of required documents, and other important information when they register their incoming kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year. 

Five signing events are scheduled:

• April 26 (Wed), 2:30 p.m. – Tynan Early Childhood, 925 Gulf St., 78202
• April 27 (Thurs), 3 p.m. – Carroll Early Childhood, 463 Holmgreen Road, 78220
• May 9 (Tues), 1 p.m. – Nelson Early Childhood, 1014 Waverly Ave., 78201
• May 15 (Mon), 1 p.m. – Knox Early Childhood, 302 Tipton Ave., 78204
• May 16 (Tues), 9 a.m. – Gonzales Early Childhood, 518 E. Magnolia, 78212

The first day of kindergarten is Tuesday, August 15.
