July 31, 2023 – San Antonio ISD has announced a series of 14 meetings that it will host throughout August and September to garner feedback from the public on a proposed rightsizing framework. The framework is a decision-making tool that will guide the district’s study on rightsizing and may lead to a list of schools that will be recommended to the Board of Trustees for closure, consolidation or co-location in the 2024-2025 school year, as well as campuses that would receive the affected students and staff. 

All meetings are open to all families, employees and community members.  

Input from these meetings and from a survey on the district’s website will be incorporated into the final framework. More information about SAISD’s rightsizing study can be found at www.saisd.net/rightsizing.
