Overview
Between Aug. 17 and Sept. 12, San Antonio ISD will seek feedback on a draft framework, which is a decision-making tool that will be used to determine a recommendation package to be presented to the board on Sept. 18. The package will include recommended consolidation and closures of school buildings, as well as campuses ready to welcome additional staff and students.

Additional community engagement will occur Sept. 20 through Oct. 30, before the board votes on the final recommendation package on Nov. 13. If approved by the board, recommendations will be implemented in the 2024-2025 school year.

Throughout Spring 2024, all families and staff will be fully supported with their enrollment and career options in the district. SAISD expects to keep most, and preferably all, staff. Closing ceremonies and welcoming activities for both employees and families will begin in the spring and continue throughout Summer 2024.
