SAISD to hold Fiesta-themed Educator Career Fair
 
Teachers, substitutes, and instructional assistants are invited to join the SAISD Familia

San Antonio ISD will welcome applicants to its Educator Career Fair with student mariachi and folklorico performances and Fiesta-like celebrations. The district is recruiting teachers, substitutes, instructional assistants and more. Almost 90% of SAISD teachers affected by school consolidation have accepted reassignment offers, and the district still has openings.
 
The event includes in-person interviews, on-site hiring, and opportunities to speak with team leaders about needed positions.
 
Interested applicants are encouraged to register early at https://www.saisd.net/FiestaJobFair. Walk-ins also are welcome to attend.
 
SAISD offers:
• Teacher salaries starting at $57,500 (and $59,500 with a master’s degree)
• Extra pay through competitive stipends and the Master Teacher Initiative (annually between $3,800-$25,000, in addition to base salary)
