WHAT: San Antonio ISD will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Washington Irving Dual Language Academy to celebrate the completion of Bond 2020-funded upgrades to the campus’s athletic and physical education spaces. These improvements are part of the district’s broader efforts to modernize facilities and enrich the student learning environment. The event will include a student mariachi performance, ceremonial ribbon-cutting and student-led campus tours.

This ceremony marks the successful delivery of Bond 2020 commitments to Irving Dual Language Academy, part of a larger districtwide effort to modernize and improve SAISD facilities. Major highlights of the completed work include the following:

• New Gymnasium;
• New Weight Room;
• Girl’s & Boy’s Locker Rooms;
• Secondary Gym; and
• Athletic Office.
