SAISD is offering a variety of summer learning activities for students and has created a parent guide for the available options, including the following:

Digital Learning Playground PK-8 (June 1-Aug. 9)
Open to all. Access any time from home and at own pace. The Digital Learning Playground includes both asynchronous and synchronous virtual learning for students in PK-8 in English and Spanish.  Students will be engaged in a variety of activities that include teacher check-ins to offer collaboration and instructional support.

Summer Reading Program PK-8
Open to all. Register by June 12, and a set of books will be mailed to your home. Call 210-554-2625 for more information and see the Book Club section at saisd.net/2020.

Bilingual PK4-Kinder (July 20-31)
For pre-qualified students. Families will be contacted to register.

Texas ACE PK-8 (June 1-26 and July 6-10)
This is for students currently enrolled in the ACE program.

High School Summer Program (July 20-31)
The HS Summer Program will support the following priorities:
• Credit recovery for seniors for class of 2020 and 2021
• Students requiring course recovery or specific courses to maintain in program pathway

High School Credit Recovery 9-12
Students will be contacted to enroll, with registration through the high school counselor.
