Superintendent Pedro Martinez will share with local business and community members the collective effort SAISD has put forth to address the challenges schools have encountered since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. He will update local leaders on the District’s strategy to build back better, safer, and stronger – including how SAISD plans to address learning loss and ensure teachers feel valued.
Other District leaders will be on hand to answer any questions the business community has about the District’s specific pandemic response in the areas of academics, socio-emotional support, the digital divide, meals and transportation, COVID testing and vaccination, and continued bond work.
This annual event, which highlights SAISD’s progress and students, is hosted by the SAISD Foundation in partnership with the Hispanic and San Antonio Chambers of Commerce and SAISD.
