SAISD preparing for Saturday’s back-to-school fair by stuffing goodie bags
A lot of preparation goes into planning for major events, and today, San Antonio ISD is preparing for its Back-to-School Resource Fair, which is happening this weekend. Staff members are busily stuffing goodie bags to hand out to families on Saturday. This scene is available for b-roll and interviews about the upcoming event.

San Antonio ISD is hosting a Back-to-School Resource Fair on Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall. During this event, families can experience a one-stop-shop for essentials, such as completing their child's annual enrollment, receiving free backpacks and school supplies, receiving free uniforms and socks and shoes, getting complimentary haircuts for kids, and also receiving free immunizations checks and vaccines, including for meningitis and COVID-19.
Families can enjoy music, live performances, balloon animals and a magic show. Additionally, throughout the event, door prizes will be awarded including an iPad, a bicycle, Sea World tickets, San Antonio Aquarium tickets, and gift cards.
