National School Bus Safety Week highlighted with student-produced video

On Monday, Oct. 18, San Antonio ISD will launch a school bus safety video as part of a public education initiative to inform parents and students about bus safety in a fun, creative way. The video is a collaboration between the Transportation Department and the students of Jefferson High School. High school students acted, filmed and edited this year’s video to the theme of “The Name Game.”

National School Bus Safety Week is held during the third week of October each year, and this is the second year that the Transportation Department collaborated with students to produce a video. Last year, three elementary schools helped create a video to the theme of “Monster Mash.”
