DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP & CYBERSAFETY
In accordance to Administrative Procedures F26 and D36; and the Student Code of Conduct, we need to ensure that students are taught Digital Citizenship lessons and that teachers complete Digital Citizenship training modules. Updated Deadlines for completion: Students by October 29, 2021 and Professional Staff (Teachers, Librarians, and Administrators) by November 16, 2021.
Ready-to-use lessons for either asynchronous or synchronous instruction are available through the Canvas Commons for grades PK-12. The instructional resources are from BrainPop and Common Sense Media. These lessons can be deployed by any teacher or librarian. Each grade level has between 4 to 6 short lessons. To maintain records of student completion, a campus designated representative simply fill out this eform verifying that your campus has completed instruction in Digital Citizenship for students.
