The Student Fairness in Feeding Act (SB 725 (85th Legislative Session), authorizes school districts to permit campuses to donate excess food to nonprofits to redistribute to children attending the campus.
The creation of an on-campus food pantry will be the best avenue by which donated food can be redistributed to children attending the campus.
