Family-School Relationships Survey

The survey will help SAISD learn more about families' needs and perceptions. Family responses will be used to better support schools in creating a positive school environment and strong partnerships with families, and to strengthen family engagement to support strong academic and social outcomes for students.

  • Yes, all responses are confidential. Individual responses will not be shared, and the data will be used in aggregate form to protect your privacy.
  • We are committed to transparency and accountability. After analyzing the survey results, we will share the findings with each campus and provide guidelines for next steps in sharing the data with their campus stakeholders. This will ensure that your feedback directly influences positive changes and improvements.
  • The survey is open to all parents/guardians of students enrolled in school as of January 22, 2024.

  • Yes, the survey was available in multiple languages to ensure accessibility for all families. These languages included: English, Spanish, Pashto, Farsi, Thai, and Swahili.

  • The survey was open to responses on February 19 - April 5, 2024.
  • You can get involved in the campus actions by joining the Campus Advisory Committee (CAC). Additionally, reaching out to your campus principal is a great way to express your interest in participating and contributing to these initiatives.
  • We encourage all stakeholders to be involved in discussing the feedback. This includes students, parents, grandparents, community members, and anyone else who is invested in the success and well-being of our school community. Your insights and participation are invaluable in helping us create a better educational experience for everyone.
