STARTING YOUR SCHOOL SEARCH
SAISD provides a comprehensive instructional program and related services for students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade, with a wide variety of extracurricular programs and academic offerings.

Along with traditional school models, the District offers academies with non-traditional grade ranges such as PK-8. SAISD also has a variety of open-enrollment schools known as Choice Schools & Magnet Programs that are open to students across Bexar County.

Families are encouraged to research schools, schedule tours, and select the one that best fits the needs of your child.

NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOLS

Start with the schools right in your neighborhood. Neighborhood schools are bound by an attendance zone and provide students the traditional experience with well-rounded academic offerings, fine arts and athletic programs.

Find the schools that serve your home address here: School Locator.

CHOICE SCHOOLS & PROGRAMS

SAISD offers a number of specialized schools such as Montessori and Dual Language models, as well as magnet programs that are open to all students in Bexar County. Admission into one of these schools/programs requires an application.

Click here for a list of Choice Schools & Programs or to apply online.
