Dear SAISD Staff:

Our Central Office departments are continuing to work to provide employees with optimal service during COVID-19. Specifically, I have asked all Central Office departments to consider ways in which we can provide you more stability and support during this time.

Together, the Talent Management, Human Resources and Technology departments have worked collaboratively to move up the timeline to distribute electronic contracts and letters of intent for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. Specifically, Technology has updated our internal systems to ensure that these documents can be reviewed and returned electronically from SAISD devices (laptops and tablets) as well as most personal devices, including computers, tablets and personal smart phones. In addition, you no longer need to access these documents from a device on the SAISD network.
 
We are on-track to deploy these agreements to those groups who normally receive them, starting with campus-based staff by the end of this week (no later than end of day April 3, 2020). Staff will have 10 calendar days to review and return the document electronically. Department-based staff are on-track to receive their agreements in early May.
