Part-Time General Information:

• Part-Time is up to 25 hours a week.
• Substitute and Part-Time employment are not allowed within the same month
  • Substitute application process is a separate process from the Part-Time application process.
• Part-Time employment is based on recommendations that must come from the Department or Campus Administrator.
• Anyone who is retired from the Teacher Retirement System must attend a TRS session with SAISD Employee Benefits Department before beginning their Part-Time assignment.
• Part-Time candidates cannot start the assignment until the Office of Talent Management has processed and approved their recommendation.
