Dear SAISD Family Member, 
 
We hope you enjoyed a safe, warm and relaxing Thursday. It is so wonderful to have you back within our “79 Square Miles of Excellence.”

I would like to personally thank you for your outstanding commitment to serving as a champion for our children. As I continually travel across our district, I am constantly reminded just how fortunate I am to be surrounded by such bright articulate students, outstanding dedicated teachers and staff, a visionary Board of Trustees, parents who truly desire the very best for their children and business /community partnership members who are committed to making a difference in the lives of our students. 
 
The incredible thing about life is that life is incredible. It is a journey full of a series of new beginnings, where each phase makes us wiser, stronger and more fulfilled. Life also reminds us just how genuinely blessed we are. Every experience teaches us something we can use going forward and enriches us as individuals. 
 
The appointment of a new SAISD Superintendent of Schools is one of these new beginnings. As the Board of Trustees and JG Consulting launch the search for our next district leader, it is imperative that you participate in the process. No one understands and values our amazing school district like our very own SAISD family members. We have a future filled with hope and endless possibilities, and you have the opportunity to provide the traits of the next leader so we can meet these aspirations. 
 
Please take a moment to fill out the survey, and attend one of the upcoming town hall meetings, which will begin Monday evening. 
 
As we search for a new leader, we will continue our focus on academic excellence, equity in education, and a culture of inclusion. With a collective heart and a commitment to excellence, we will ensure our students grow and flourish as our schools continue to succeed. We look forward to working together as we face the challenges that lie ahead, and we will never lose sight of the fact that together we can always achieve more! We are SAISD PROUD.
