District Advisory Council (DAC) provides for district-level planning and decision-making, including reviewing the District’s improvement plan, educational goals, performance objectives and District-wide staff development and classroom instructional programs. District staff, parents, community members and business representatives come together at least twice per year to provide input, information and recommendations to the Superintendent. Additional meetings may be called at the discretion of the Chairperson. District staff must be nominated and elected to serve on the DAC; non-staff are selected in accordance with board policy and administrative regulations. To self-nominate, volunteer, or to find out more information about the DAC, please contact the Office of Academics and School Leadership.
