The Growth and Development Committee will support the district in responding to the key challenges of declining student enrollment, shifting city demographics, housing growth, and aging infrastructure. The committee will engage a diverse group of stakeholders to gather and analyze data on enrollment, population, housing, facility capacity, and Bond plans. Potential deliverables will include producing a report on enrollment and school planning, discussing new processes for engaging external stakeholders, and potential policy and legislative agenda proposals. We are seeking stakeholders experienced in this type of work or with a deep interest in exploring these challenges. The committee will meet 4 to 6 times per year.
